- What is an NFT?
- An NFT is a one-of-a-kind, non-fungible, cryptographic token representing a unique digital asset for which there is no copy or substitute. An NFT cannot be substituted for another NFT as each NFT is distinctive and unique in some way. An NFT is not a medium of exchange and is not convertible virtual currency. Each NFT is secured by the blockchain, meaning your NFT is Unique and Licensed by Elf Yourself. Once claimed, you are responsible for safeguarding your wallet and NFT, as it cannot be recovered if lost.
- What is the ElfYourself NFT?
- The ElfYourself NFT is a digital image, a unique piece of art which incorporates the user’s selected photo along with original artwork, to create a one-of-a-kind digital asset. The art was created specifically for this offering. A limited number of unique images will be created and minted this holiday season.
- How can I purchace the ElfYourself NFT?
- The ElfYourself NFT can only be purchased from within the ElfYourself application, which is available at www.elfyourself.com and also as an iOS and Android app.
To purchase your NFT, launch ElfYourself, add your faces, then click on “Let’s Dance” to view video playback. Here you will see the NFT option. - When will the ElfYourself NFT be available for purchase?
- The first 2021 series will be available in mid November. The second series in mid December. Each series is limited, so the Offbeat Elves will only be available until each series sells out.
Once the 2021 holiday season is over, we will start planning for the 2022 holidays. Follow us on social media to learn of our 2022 plans. - Where can I buy/sell previously minted ElfYourself NFT images?
- Search for “Offbeat Elves” on opensea.io
- Can I keep my ElfYourself NFT private?
- No that’s not an option.
- Can I select or influence the art when I create my ElfYourself NFT?
- Yes, your contribution to the art is your facial image, which helps make it unique. Other elements (such as clothing, hat, shoes etc.) will be auto-selected for you.
- Where is my NFT?
- When your purchase is successfully completed, we create your NFT, and then we provide youwith a link to a pick up page to get your NFT. The same information is also sent to you via email – so please check your inbox. If you missed the link and cannot locate the email we sent you, please contact our support at elfyourself@oddcast.com.
- I purchased using wrong email – what do I do?
- You will not be able to gain access to your purchase. For your protection, you must prove ownership by verifying your email when you pick up your NFT.
